The time has come for the U.S. to pull out of Afghanistan. If we haven't won after eight years, we will never win. The Russians pulled out after 10 years.
Eight more of our military were killed by "militants", what the hell are "militants", they are the "enemy", nothing less.
Two hundred enemy troops attacked two outposts near the Pakistan border. They came from a village and a mosque. Why wasn't the mosque and village obliterated with air strikes, so they couldn't be used a a staging area again.
Why was the outpost where it was. Between two mountains where the enemy could fire down on them, a valley so narrow that air support was minimal.
It is time to get out, or fight the war as a war should be fought. Like as (I believe) a British general said many years ago. "The essence of war is violence, moderation in war is imbecility".
With our "rules of engagement", we can't win.

obama calls a jackass a jackass
So President Obama called some guy ( kayne west) a jackass. So what, he is entitled to making his opinions public.
President H.Truman had a habit of calling people a lot worse.
This whole thing is much ado about nothing.
It's a shame that people have to be politically correct instead of speaking there mind without the perverts making a big deal about it. So someone or group gets offended, so what. they should stop whining, get a beer and cry in it alone.

health care
So Obama wants to fine people up to $3800 for not having health care insurance. Now just where does he think that the average person will get $3800 ??. Rob banks, mug people in the subway??

bible changes
A top selling bible will get it's first change in 25 years. "the new international version", produced and directed by conservative evangelicals. Supposedly to reflect changes in English usage and advances in biblical scholarship. They dropped gender specific terms,like sons of god became children of god. Men are now people, not men. These scholarly oafs didn't think that the people that wrote the bible really meant what they said. Amazing, these scholars can read the minds of dead people. These people that are doing this make the bible look like it is fiction. Just imagine how many changes they can make to make it totally "politically correct". So The "turd" award goes to the scholars and the conservative evangelical leaders that allowed this atrocity.. Congratulations.

Microsoft
So Microsoft photoshopped an ad for consumption in Poland. In the ad was an Asian, a Negro, and a Caucasian.
They changed the face of the negro to that of a caucasian. The artists forgot to change the hands along with the face. Someone noticed.
Microsoft changed the ad back to it's original form, and apologised. Why apologise. If you are selling to Africans, would you use caucasian models?. Not likely.

obama
in January Democrats were toasting Barack Obama's accession to power. Little more than halfway through Mr. Obama's first year in the White House, we're already reading portrayals comparing him with Lyndon Johnson, who gave up.
America is not ready for a Communists or a Socialist Government yet. I think that Obama will be a one-term president because he is too arrogant to change his tune, & do what Clinton did, i.e. come more to the center... not to mention he has never been centrist in his life and has surrounded himself with radicals his entire life, so not only doesn't know how to do it, but is unnatural to him. in his mind, he is right, we are all wrong, and he knows what it best.
He is not a uniter, but a divider. He has revealed himself to be racist and sexist (look who he appointed to the supreme court, a woman, and hispanic, is slighting our allies and treating them like crap and embracing socialistic dictators, and is not a friend to Israel. Bottom line is, he continues to not be able to help himself as far as revealing who he really is... and that will continue to be his downfall.
